I agree with you on this book, It is one of my favorites. It is why I got a top whorl spindle, but found I still do better with a bottom. Can’t wait to see what you think. Your new spindle is making me go “OOOOO”!

I think this is one of the best of the best books out there! I personally love my Turkish Spindle and it was the first spindle I could spin lace from! I think you will love it too, as soon as you have more time to give it a good spin that is!

Hi Marie,
Next time I’m in town I’ll bring the spinning gizmos my mother used – they look just like yours. We had sheep in the front field and (after working 40 hours a week) she actually sheared them, then spun the wool, and then knit me a sweater! Would you maybe demonstrate the spinning part if I bring the whatchacallit (roving?)

That sounds like a very helpful book for the aspiring spinner. Now I expect to see lots of spun yarn around here!
